The Gods of Dark Earth
Under construction

The gods of Dark Earth are a colourful bunch. Most of them come from some other pantheons and have flocked to Dark Earth for some unknown reason. On Dark Earth, they have their own mythology, which differs greatly from their normal ones, do some things may overlap. Pallas Athena is still the goddess of wisdom and Thor still throws lightning bolts at the unworthy. But some portfolio's might differ greatly.
Jupiter, god of war, is the leader of the bunch. His appearance alone sets him apart from the Jupiter of the roman pantheon. Odin and Zeus, the leaders of their own pantheons, follow the rules set forth by Jupiter on this world. Odin is the god of food and drink, his temples resemble large wine-casks. And then there is Salamon and Allergod. Salamon is the evil god and little to nothing is known about Allergod. Also, they are not of any of the pantheons from which the other gods hail.

Achilles
Description will follow.

Allergod
God of All. Allergod is an exception to god-kind in more then one way. First of all, he got selected to be a god. He was a great mage before he became the god of all Dark Earth. But most people do not know he even exists. His power is maintained by the eleven other gods of good. He is unable to give his followers the basic spells they need, but does grant them all the higher level spells. Allergod has no spheres of influence, for these are granted to his followers by the other gods. All people who worship the other gods, worship Allergod in an indirect way. The other gods give him the power he needs to oppose Salamon, and this is the task for which he was chosen. Priests of 5th level or up, and sometimes even lower level priests, are introduced to Allergod in a very basic way. They get to meet his avatar, named Drun, through a special gateway in one of the bigger temples of the god they think they worship. This often leaves followers in somewhat of a crisis of faith. If they survive this crisis, they can go on to gain higher levels of divine magic and are granted the benefits of specialist priests of level 6 and up.

Andromeda
Goddess of Love. She wields the power over the heart. Andromeda resembles an elven maiden of unsurpassed beauty with long, white hair and purple eyes. Her skin is pale and covered in rosebuds. Followers of her faith are destined to wed a lot of people. Her temples look somewhat greek, but lack any roofs in the central areas.

Artemis
Description will follow.

Demeter
Description will follow.

Jupiter
God of War. Head of the Dark Earth pantheon, in some way (see Allergod). Jupiter resembles a centaur with four arms on his human torso and a mask to cover his heavily mutilated face. It is said he was hurt when he fought Salamon in the beginning of time. His temples resemble forts, most of them are wooden but some of them are stone. A central hall functions as training room for priest and warrior alike.

Keres
Description will follow.

Odin
God of Food and Drink. Odin closes the old year and opens the new year with his famous three day festival of Wine. He can sometimes be seen on these occasions, for he likes to visit a single village or city on this festival. Odin resembles a human of extraordinary size, wild, untamed and drinking all the time. His laughter is enough to scare opponents or make allies drink all the more. His temples resemble big barrels, joined together. The grand wooden halls function as church, brewery and silos alike.

Pallas Athena
Description will follow.

Pan
God of Nature. Pan resembles a satyr. He's a jolly god and is the one most often seen. Or, at least, his avatar. He always carries his pan flute with him and is often followed by a number of animals. He is naked, but this doesn't really show for he is covered all over with dark brown curls. His temples are Aztec style on the outside, though quite hollow on the inside. Plants grow everywhere. Currently, Pan has disappeared and has been, temporarily, replaced by Silvanos of the celtic pantheon. Silvanos lacks the carefree spirit of Pan and is somewhat disliked by the priests of Pan, who maintain the impression to the outside that Pan is still here... Or even alive.

Salamon
The Evil God. Salamon was the first god of Dark Earth. Many gods witnessed him coming into his power and sought a way to oppose him. Jupiter, Odin and Zeus came to an understanding and arrived on the world. But Salamon was strong and even the three of them could hardly oppose him. Together with eight other gods, they formed a plan to create a single god of Good, who could stand up to Salamon. But this creating turned out to be a slow process and is as of today still not finished.

Thor
God of Weather. Thor rules the air of Dark Earth. He resembles a dwarf with lightning blue eyes and long dark hair. He wears a blue robe with yellow shafts of lightning and a warhammer and shield in his hands. His temples resemble obelisks, pointing into the sky, with tips of metal. Lightning conductors lead to the altar in the center of the temple.

Zeus
Description will follow.
